Where to Stay in Miami Beach

Miami Beach is one of my favorite weekend getaway spots and the perfect place to jet away for a little sun. It is a unique city on the beach, swarming with restaurants and hotels. It can be especially overwhelming in terms of where to eat and where to stay in Miami. I’ll break down a few of my favorite places just to help you out a bit! The best part about Miami is that there is something for each type of trip – couples getaway, family vacation, bachelorette weekend and more. Miami is even the spot for our annual father daughter trip. Something for everyone indeed! Check out the list of where to stay in Miami and let me know some of your favorites in the comments.

Eden Roc

Eden Roc is on the northern side of Miami Beach and a quieter retreat from the hubbub of South Beach and Collins Drive. What I love about this hotel is that there are sweeping beach views on one side and serene bay views on the other. Regardless of your room, you will have a neat view! Eden Roc features two well known restaurants – Nobu and Malibu Farm. Nobu is the infamous sushi concept also located in LA. Malibu Farmis Eden Roc’s newest farm to table restaurant. It’s often rare that hotels have such great hotel dining options, so take advantage of it while you are there. Eden Roc features a spacious, beautifully designed lobby. PS there’s also Starbucks in the lobby so you coffee drinkers will never be without. The beach is located right in front of the hotel with complimentary chairs and towels. If you aren’t a beach person, the pool is also amazing. You can’t go wrong with Eden Roc.

Delano

If you want to see and be seen, the Delano is your spot. Located in the middle of Collins Drive, the Delano is the quintessential South Beach hotel. The Delano features all white décor. All white. You will most definitely feel like you are staying in style here. The pool is bumping with music and excitement. If that is your style, join in on the fun. If not, the beach is a quieter option and located directly in front of the hotel. Best part of the Delano? It’s location. You are right near the nightclubs and a short Uber away from some of the best restaurants in Miami.

Hotel Croydon

For all of my budget travelers, Hotel Croydon is the place to stay in Miami. I will forever be a fan of this place. It is located near the Eden Roc and Fountainbleu in North Beach. The beach is located across the street and the hotel provides beach chairs and towels. Hotel Croydon also provides a chic extra large beach bag. I loved this amenity because I frequently forget a beach bag and this one fit all of our stuff with room to spare. My favorite part of Hotel Croydon? Complimentary happy hour. Grab a drink (or 5) and head up to the rooftop for sweeping views of Miami and the beach. It is truly stunning at sunset!

Faena

Where to stay in Miami for the luxury traveler? The Faena. Without a doubt. Also located on the North Beach side, the Faena features bay views and ocean views. The Faena features an extreme attention to detail with wood sourced from Florence and pops of red, gold and turquoise color throughout. For art lovers, there is a complimentary art tour each day that showcases the Faena collection on display throughout the hotel. The beach is also located directly in front of the hotel and when you come back in, someone will be ready to wash the sand off of your feat.
