Katie graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.B.A in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She spent 8 years building a successful career as a Healthcare Marketing Director, but her true passion was always in travel.
As the daughter of a Naval Commander whose family moved every three years, Katie grew up experiencing different cultures around the world. Living in Japan at the age of 5, she encountered the kindest people who inspiringly shared their culture and traditions in ways that left a lasting impression. This ignited her love of travel, and she spent many years planning trips for family and friends. With the desire to help create lifelong memories for others during their travels, she decided to pursue a career in travel. Katie trained under an industry icon in New York City where she developed relationships with leading industry partners and built custom travel itineraries for high profile clients and prominent figures in sports, entertainment, and finance. Now as a Travel Advisor for Major Traveler, Katie provides each client with an authentic, life-enriching travel experience through personalized and high-touch service.
