It’s evident that summer vacations have been turned upside down and all around. For now, we’ll be sticking stateside to remain on the safe side. Of course, travel is all about your comfort level. If you want to venture to Mexico or the Bahamas, let’s get you there! If you prefer a summer road trip to a closer-to-home destination, we can always make that happen. We’ve been referring to this summer with our clients as summer 2.0 or summer vacation remix. Here are some of our favorite spots!
Experience the great out West with limitless outdoor activities, gorgeous accommodations, a full service spa and top notch cuisine. Moral of the story: you can experience the feel of the “true West” without sacrificing your true comfort.

One Southern Cali’s most celebrated luxury resorts, Rancho Valencia is situated in a private enclave amidst the rolling hills. It has natural charm and classic California character. Summer brings about lush gardens and beautiful olive and orange groves. Hint hint: this is the place for all of you looking for wellness, fitness and a renowned tennis program.
Set on the rock coast of Southern Maine, Cliff House offers panoramic ocean views from every bit of the resort. Cliff House recently underwent a complete renovation and transformation in August 2016, so you can count on a modern, refreshed look. With ample activities, including the nearby Ogunquit beach, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable summer vacation.
A true New England escape with timeless elegance. Ocean House is a boutique resort in Rhode Island with 49 newly remodeled guestrooms and 18 suites. Our favorite highlight? The stately marble bathrooms. If you want to venture off of the resort, you can visit the nearby summer estates of the rich and famous.
A charming manor house resort and spa, Inn at Perry Cabin resembles a colonial mansion and makes for the perfect rural retreat. We personally love the proximity to DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia. Relaxation is the name of the game here. Lounge in the spa, float in the infinity pool, take a sailing trip on the water, or savor seafood in the restaurant. Psst – it’s some of the best food you’ll taste!
A classic New England resort that maintains its old school history. Once upon a time, affluent guests in New England spent their time here playing in the ocean, enjoying afternoon tea, taking in the ocean vistas and dining like kings and queens. The same traditions ring true today at Chatham Bars Inn – lovingly restored to its original grandeur, but completely updated with the latest amenities.
A timeless landmark on the island of Nantucket. Full of charm, chic guest rooms, natural light and harbor views, this is often seen as the place to be in Nantucket. You’ll want to make this longer than a weekend getaway to give ample time for biking, strolling and exploring.

The rates are all-inclusive of all meals and drinks, so you have nothing to worry about. Plus, hundreds of health and fitness classes are at your fingertips.
A southern gem located in Kiawah Island, South Carolina, the Sanctuary is a special place for all travelers, families and couples alike. Here, you’re 30 minutes from downtown Charleston, where you can pop over for a dinner out or shopping spree. Our favorite thing at Kiawah? The Ryder Cup Bar and Restaurant, which overlooks sweeping views of the Ocean Course and Atlantic ocean.
Eau Palm Beach is characterized by Jonathan Adler designed guest rooms, pops of yellow, crisp white accents and bright ocean blues. You’ll feel that you’ve been transported to Santorini or Capri, when you’re really enjoying Palm Beach!
Not to be biased, but this is our personal favorite southern, low country retreat. Nesteld along the May River between Hilton Head and Savannah, the resort encompasses everything we love about the south. Lounge by the pool, take a boat on the water, walk among the many trails, or take your time dining slow at a restaurant. Trust us in that this is a vacation you’ll want to savor.
After a massive renovation, Little Palm Island is back and better than ever! A quick boat ride from Little Torch Key, you don’t have to go far for this Florida gem. Little Palm is set on a private island with crushed seashell paths, tropical foliage, exotic wildlife and pristine ocean views. For all of those covid-brides who were dreaming of the Caribbean, this is your next best escape!
