major recap: le blanc los cabos

Le Blanc Los Cabos is the newest to the Palace Resorts collection. It is a beautiful resort set in between Grand Velas Los Cabos and Solaz, the newest Marriott property to hit the scene. Palace Resorts is a massive collection with hotels in Cancun, Los Cabos, and Jamaica (soon to be DR, too!). Their luxury segment is the Le Blanc brand and they do luxury very well. I have a LOT of favorite things about Le Blanc. It is all-inclusive luxury, so what’s not to love? It is quiet and peaceful, making for the perfect relaxing vacation. It’s fitting that I spent a week here just before the Coronavirus outbreak. Here are a few highlights of Le Blanc Los Cabos. Ready to go? Let’s get to planning 🙂

The Property

Le Blanc Los Cabos is a beachfront, all-inclusive resort. While the resort is beachfront, it is not swimmable. Most of the beaches in Los Cabos are not swimmable! I never understood this until I arrived in Cabo and saw just how fiercely the waves slam against the sand. Despite the beach not being swimmable, many people choose to lay on the beach during the day. It’s a serene paradise with the sound of crashing waves.

The Food

I was most impressed by the food scene at Le Blanc Los Cabos. Doing food well at an all-inclusive is a difficult task. There are 8 restaurants, each with their own theme and food concept. My personal favorites were Blanc Italia and Blanc Ocean. The Italian food was top notch with authentic pasta and Italian appetizers. The wine menu is a spectacle in itself. You’re handed an i-Pad where you are able to pick by region, type, and more. Make sure to order the fire coffee dessert! They quite literally light tequila on fire and pair it with ice cream, coffee and sugar.

The draw of Blanc Ocean was both the food and the scenery. The setting is what you picture a beach restaurant to be. It sits right near the water, so as you dine, you feel the cool ocean breeze. The seafood is fresh, as are their steak and chicken options. At each restaurant, you are presented with the chefs selection appetizers. At Blanc Ocean, the chef served us incredible empanadas. We even asked for more!

Fitness and Wellness

I am a big fan of relaxing vacations, but my people typically have other ideas. Aka, they like to get up, skip breakfast, and workout for the morning. If you follow me on IG, you know that I am a big believer (and critic) in breakfast buffets, so this is not my style. However, I fell in love with the workout room at Le Blanc. It is massive, pristine, and has about every high technology piece of equipment you could imagine. They have two trainers on hand that can train you personally. Or you can jump into one of the group fitness classes. There is daily morning yoga, cross fit, TRX, abs, HIIT, pilates and so much more. If I were here for longer, I probably would have lost weight! On vacation! Can you believe it!

The Rooms

Rooms are a make it or break it at hotels. If you aren’t happy with your room category, you probably aren’t going to be happy with your entire stay. The rooms at Le Blanc Los Cabos enhance your stay, which is the best position for a resort to be. Upon arrival at Le Blanc, you receive a wristband, which is your key to everything around the resort, even your room. This was a negative for me because I got a wristband tan and it drove me crazy. However, it was very helpful to not have to remember your key when leaving the room. The beds are beyond comfortable and the layout has a sense of zen. You can even choose a pillow aromatherapy menu! My favorite part of the room was the balcony. Each morning, I would sit on our balcony for two hours, watching the sun rise while responding to emails. There is no dreamier way to respond to emails.

The Amenities

Le Blanc Los Cabos offers “Blanc Benefits” for each guest staying at the resort. Blanc Benefits are resort credits that can be used towards a curated group of amenities such as golf, spa, upgraded wine, destination experiences, romantic dinners and more. Guests staying 4 nights receive $750 in resort credits. Guests staying 5-8 nights receive $1,500 in resort credits. It’s truly an amazing program! Plus, every guest receives a Butler with their room! The Butler can arrange anything for you – spa appointments, reservations at the French restaurant, Lumiere, tours and activities in Los Cabos, airport transportation and more.
