Hotels we’re Loving in 2019

Virtuoso Travel Week is the annual pilgrimage of the who’s who in Luxury Travel to Las Vegas, Nevada. For a week, we advisors meet with hotels & resorts, tour operators, onsite suppliers and more to get a glimpse into what’s new and trending in travel. To paint a picture of my day for you, I spend 7 hours in meetings each day…speed dating style. I schedule special lunches and dinners with top suppliers among my clients to strengthen my connections and relationships.

It is a whirlwind of a week, but one of the most beneficial of the year! The sole purpose of the week is to provide my clients with bespoke and creative itineraries tailored to their interests. Here are a 11 of my favorites from Virtuoso Travel Week 2019!

Noelle Hotel

Nashville, Tennessee

This gem in downtown Nashville, Tennessee truly captures the spirit of Nashville. Originally built in the 1930’s, the revitalized hotel is taking on a new life of its own. Noelle was created as a collaboration between artists and makers of Nashville. It’s no wonder it made it onto Travel and Leisure’s “IT List” this year!

Body Holiday

St. Lucia

“Give us your body for a week and we’ll give you back your mind”. This is my kind of motto! Body Holiday in St. Lucia strives to help you find incremental change. The goal is an overall sense of well-being, where you will learn how to exercise 10% better, eat 10% healthier, etc.. The resort was renovated in 2018 and activities include restorative beauty, better aging practices, yoga, sailing, scuba, fitness and more. PS – we’ll make sure you get a spa treatment included (every.single.day.)!!

Vermejo, a Ted Turner Reserve

New Mexico

They say the perfect vacation doesn’t exists…but I beg to differ. Vermejo, a Ted Turner Reserve, is a dream come true, especially for all of you who love the western ranch vibes. Vermejo features 550,000 acres of picturesque lands, 19 fishable lakes, horseback riding, holistic spa services, shooting sports, cooking classes, hiking and more. The property also has frequent sightings of elk, bison, black bear and mountain lions. The rates here are all-inclusive, with quite a few accommodation options, to make it work for the entire family.

Hotel 850

West Hollywood, California

“Every detail is intentional, every amenity is inspired, every guest is a friend”. Shouldn’t every hotel think this way? Hotel 850 is frequented by West Hollywood elite as an urban getaway to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a true boutique hotel. One might not even know it was a hotel based on its bungalow façade. If you’re frequently in LAX, spend a night or two in this hotel to experience the magic for yourself!

Four Seasons Lanai is a Hawaiian staple and is finally opening the beautiful Sensei addition. Sensei is an adults-only all-inclusive opening at Four Seasons Lanai in February 2020. It will feature 90 guestrooms and serve as a wellness destination for travelers. Perhaps the most exciting fact is that Lanai Air will be included within your rate! St. Barthelemy

After a few seasons off of the market, St. Barths is also back up and running! The Caribbean is about to be a hopping place. The classic Eden Roc St. Barths has been the Best of the Best in St. Barths since the 1950’s. It is seen as a home away from home with chic décor, pops of red, and now, a completely refurbished property.

Tiamo

Bahamas

A hidden secret in the Bahamas, Tiamo is a resort that you should put on your wishlist. Tiamo features 10 villas and all-inclusive rates. To get here, you fly to Nassau, catch a puddle jumper to South Andros and a 10-minute boat transfer to the resort. You have to go far to get to the best spots! My favorite part? The honeymoon perks! We get Major Traveler honeymooners a bottle of champagne, candlelit dinner under the stars with a private butler, castaway outing on an uninhabited private beach, and a private snorkel safari.
